Thank god. Those nimrods have ran the UK straight into the ground for 80 years. About damn time they re-embrace classical liberalism. They won't of course -- my expectation is they become even dumber.
So it seems to me that gun control canβt be solved because Democrats are using guns to kill each other β and want it to stop β whereas Republicans are using guns to defend against Democrats. Psychologically, those are different risk profiles. And you canβt reconcile those interests, except on the margins. For example, both sides might agree that rocket launchers are a step too far. But Democrats are unlikely to talk Republicans out of gun ownership because it comes off as βPut down your gun so I can shoot you.β
It's (un)interesting how every single election cycle, libertarian blogs and boards get flooded with the same old republican talking points from proto-libertarian republicans (they call themselves alt-right these days). Inevitably it's all about baiting one boogeyman or another -- they're so brainwashed they don't understand how they're playing right into the state's hands.
I can think of a million worse things a cop could be doing. Maybe more cop groupies should ride-along more frequently -- would significantly diminish the people harmed by cops.
Total tyranny coming out of the high priests, as usual, though this really just codifies what they already get away with. Since the 'evidence' can be obtained totally illegaly, this basically means coproaches can plant evidence and railroad you for any reason at any time and totally get away with it... just like now.
