Too bad that both aprioristic reasoning and
empirical data smash the puerile argument put forth here. Even
if androids with AIs were created, it still makes economic sense for them to not edge out biological lifeforms; earth has got millions of years of capital formation in supporting biological life that actively corrodes machinery. It would make sense for them to exploit places marginal to human occupation, such as planetoids without atmospheres.
Even in the luddite apocalypse where AIs and androids exist, comparative advantage still means more employment, not less.
