Seems to suggest what was already suspected -- namely that having a quick gestation chimera for use in organ harvesting ops is probably a non-starter. The slowest gestation cells seem to put a brake on everything else, so much so that the window for successful hybridization is low, and the resulting chimera has a low shelf-life.
