Well, if they go this route, they may as well cover all elective plastic surgeries. I'm against it just because it's the government provisioning it, but that should go without saying at this point.

The reality is that the government is going to stiff the doctors doing the surgery, just like anything else. As such, now the doctor who won't do it (as they won't be fully paid) gets to be the 'bad guy'.
