It seems the MSM narrative here is that the Russians have decided that they're going to fight "Great Patriotic War II" against the west. While there is some truth to that (Both the NATO and CSTO propaganda mills are overstating the influence the GLADIO nazis have in Ukraine and the Baltic), it must not be forgotten that the US empire has been the prime mover behind what NAZI plots that do exist.

Seen in that light, this is probably a sophisticated provocation by NATO -- they know the urge to kill NAZIs might be too hard for the Russians to resist; and the whole game of the empire has been goading and pushing until the enemy shoots first.
