By getting rid of data sharing, the raison d'etre of ad networks disappears; things would fragment back to the way it was in the "web 1.0" ad sphere. Obviously I oppose this, as there is already adequate remedy under the law; just install noscript if you don't want to be tracked. Or, better yet -- don't patronize sites that surveil you.
