The main criticism here is that he's being hypocritical and not authentic vis. woke hiring policies. The proper response is to correctly say you are forced to do this by law; a law which cares not one whit for your personal convictions and conscience. Also that "authenticity" is overrated in that it actually doesn't exist; only people's perception of authenticity does.
