A mainstream article that even considers alternatives is progress, I suppose. They still need to go deeper and more exhaustively into the data to provide a more convincing presentation; but at least they're not screaming "FACTS DONT MATTER, JUST HABEEB THE HIVEMIND!!!!1" anymore.
