Just like last time with the Red Baiting, no special effort needs to be taken to invade and forcibly pacify those holding these poisonous ideologies. Letting them be to stew in said ideology's fruits will liquidate their experiment in authoritarianism quicker than any amount of bombs can.

That said there are forces for good in Islam; Muslims4Liberty and the Quranists in particular are pretty good in my book. I haven't encountered too many commies for liberty, in contrast.

All this being said, "Reliance of the Traveller" and other mainstream shariah doctrine are thoroughly illiberal. ...Unfortunately, the only business restored so far is the crony postal and phone services. So, while you can now directly mail things there (and probably have it be heavily scrutinized/sanitized for contraband) or get your calls listened to, this is actually a troubling sign, as it seems the USA only wants to enrich their cronies (as usual).
