Sounds like they 'discovered' what Orlin Grabbe and other Finance guys have known for over 30 years. Hell, just taking a normal statistics class with a competent professor could have told you this. These guys have complete blinders on for anything going on outside their field.
People don't understand - it isn't the guns and knives that cause people to want to do this in schools - it is done for the same reasons riots happen in prison. A more accurate term for the "School to Prison" pipeline would be "Prison to Prison".
You know, if you were going to close almost all the DMV offices statewide to save money, why not abolish the need for a driver's license instead of re-opening them for one day a month?
