Nvidia: Playing with fire 🔗

Trying to play dirty to exclude AMD gfx card vendors like intel did back in the day with mobo makers. Good luck being ground under the boot heel of the commoditized market, bozos. They must be drinking their own kool-aid finally.

For the anti-capitalist reasons of course, showing they actually hate women's liberation (given capitalism is what has liberated women). The genuine reason to dislike the idea is because it's mostly a side-effect of bubblenomics that everyone including teens are now obsessed with getting rich quick.

This is your brain on Gun Control 🔗
1522353285

overcoming various state gun-control laws appears to be at the heart of Mercer’s previously unreported dabbling in Lake Arthur’s law enforcement. In 2004, Congress passed the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act, declaring that police officers can carry concealed guns in any state without the need of a local license. The law applies to off-duty officers who are out of their jurisdictions, including volunteers. As a result, the volunteer police badge became an alluring accessory for gun enthusiasts, especially in areas that seldom grant concealed-carry permits—areas like Suffolk County, where Mercer lives. Since the law was enacted, some police departments around the country (dubbed “badge factories” by insiders) have been said to swap badges for cash, or hand them out to friends...

So much for 10x deadlier than VX. Anyways, it looks like Skirpal himself was defecting back to Russia, making the motive even more ridiculous. The most plausible theory I've heard so far is Eric Margolis' theory. SMERSH or it's modern counterpart probably tried to liquidate him, but that's nothing to get upset about given UK secret services do worse all the time.

What the "march for our lives" idiots are missing 🔗
1521972449

Glad to see someone on the left at least starting to figure this out:
I’m sorry guys, I can’t get there. It’s a sad thing to admit, but at this point gun control has become another means by which we deflect attention away from what’s really going on. Kids are killing each other because our public schools are run like prisons by overworked, underpaid, and under-trained teachers and administrators. American schools have become all about test scores and the human needs of students have become an afterthought. If we took the guns away, the kids would have a harder time killing each other, but they’d still be miserable. It’s the misery that most warrants our attention, not its result.
Basically, they don't know enough to realize they've been in an abnormal situation all their lives. E.G. they're dumb kids who shouldn't be listened to until they LURK MORE.

Surprised to see this from counterpunch. They were some of the most hysterical Russia kooks last year.
“If you look at the map of the United States, there’s all that red in the middle where Trump won. I win the coasts. But what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product (GDP). So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward” - Hillary Clinton, last week (emphasis added).

That was Hillary Goldman Sachs-Council on Foreign Relations Clinton saying “fuck you very much” to working- and middle-class people in Iowa, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, and West Virginia. It was a raised middle finger from a super-wealthy arch-global-corporatist to all the supposedly pessimistic, slow-witted. retrograde losers stuck between those glorious enclaves (led by Wall Street, Yale, and Harvard on the East coast and Silicon Valley and Hollywood on the West coast) of human progress and variety (and GDP!) on the imperial shorelines.

Wow. Call it “Deplorables II.: The Wall Street Witch Strikes Again!”
