Most people are mighty brave when asked the question, as they don't really know what hardship such would cause. Nevertheless the underlying dissatisfaction is real; but it's likely sunshine patriotism everywhere but Greece, in which case they already have little to lose.
It sounds like his memoir of the Greek crisis is quite interesting. Sounds like they narrowly avoided a military coup. While knuckling to the Eurocrats wasn't any damn good, getting a new reign of the Colonels would indeed have been worse, so I understand their decision.
Swiss people continue to oppose it, so they're likely to try chicanery to ram through their crony energy deal they want and let in the eurocrats through the back door.
Calling it barter. Conveniently one assumes they get to make up the amount of profits on both sides from the contract, given they are pulling that out of their hind end as well.
Very dangerous. I just saw a proprietary report from a firm used as 'evidence' that a person was likely to be recidivist and justify harsher sentencing. This is going to further transform the Just Us system into witch trials.
If like the previous "austerity", then it likely will never be paid either, except by shafting pensioners, etc. (which has already been done, so I'm not sure where they'd get funds to repay this time).
