Protect ya neck. I would disagree that only spreading the ideas of liberty leads to liberty, but he at least made a good try of an argument. I'd say it's more of a "Sure, Ghandi did great things, but how many Ghandis had to be brutally murdered by the state first? Is there not some better way to go about this than outright civil disobedience?"
Unfortunately, in many cases, the answer is no.
