Having lived in a small town half my life, I really understand this.  There are people that at least 99% of the community pretty much considered scum and wouldn't cry if they fell off a balcony when nobody was looking.  That such was not done explains a lot; practically all of such filth sought (and obtained) positions of power which they abused to the fullest extent.]]></description>
